Number stamps are the most versatile of the band
numbering style stamps.
They come in such a wide variety of sizes and configurations that we're
sure
you can find exactly what you are looking for.
Manual numberers can also have alphabet bands inserted in to any
position.
With these stamps though, you are restricted to just half
of the
alphabet on
each band. That is, either A-M or N-Z.
Splitting the alphabet allows you to go to the largest size available
and is more
cost effective than having the entire alphabet on the same stamp.
The "bands" are the strips of rubber that have each set of numbers or
letters.
The matrix below is broken down by the size of the individual character
and the
number of bands on the stamp.
For example, if you wanted to do phone numbers with the hyphens you
would need a 12-band unit, 10 phone digits and 2 hyphens makes 12 bands.
Some bands have specialty characters built in to "fill in" the bands.
